Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is India’s core law governing the processing of digital personal data. It balances individual privacy rights (Data Principals) with organizational duties (Data Fiduciaries), backed by the Data Protection Board of India.

Rights of Individuals :

Right to access : Ask if your data is processed and get a summary.

Right to fix/delete : Correct wrong data or erase it when no longer needed.

Right to withdraw : Take back consent easily at any time.

Right to complain : Seek redress through the fiduciary or board.

डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 भारत का प्रमुख कानून है जो डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा के प्रसंस्करण को नियंत्रित करता है। यह व्यक्तिगत गोपनीयता अधिकारों (डेटा प्रिंसिपल्स) और संगठनात्मक कर्तव्यों (डेटा फिड्यूशरीज) के बीच संतुलन स्थापित करता है, जिसे भारतीय डेटा संरक्षण बोर्ड कासमर्थन प्राप्त है ।

व्यक्तियों के अधिकार :

जानकारी प्राप्त करने का अधिकार: यह पूछें कि क्या आपका डेटा संसाधित किया जा रहा है और उसका सारांश प्राप्त करें।

सुधार/हटाने का अधिकार: गलत डेटा को सही करें या आवश्यकता न होने पर उसे मिटा दें।

सहमति वापस लेने का अधिकार: किसी भी समय आसानी से अपनी सहमति वापस लें।

शिकायत करने का अधिकार: न्यासी या बोर्ड के माध्यम से निवारण की मांग करें।
